Gary Wantulok of SBW & Associates, P.C., was born and raised in the Big Horn Basin. He enlisted in the United States military right out of high school and served until 2006. Gary earned an Associate of Science in Accounting degree from Northwest College and later a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from California State University-Bakersfield State. While at Cal State, he met his wife, and they moved to Worland after graduation to make a home. The couple has two sons in high school and a 13-year-old daughter, and they enjoy a busy and fulfilling life, which includes attending the children’s sports and other activities, taking care of five horses, hunting, and fishing.

Gary began working for SBW—formerly Stine Buss Wolff Wilson & Associates, P.C—in 2010. He’s a partner in both the Worland and Cody SBW offices, and last year he moved to Cody to serve clients in that area. Steve Stine founded SBW in Worland in the late 1970s, and it’s been a community asset ever since. The Cody office opened in 2002, followed a few years later by the Powell office. All partners and staff members are encouraged to volunteer and give back to each community as much as they can. Gary is involved with Kiwanis, local sports, Community Joint Powers Board. and his church’s finance council. For SBW,

serving their communities begins with an individualized approach to meeting each client’s needs and helping them reach their financial goals. Many folks in the community are great at ranching, farming, or running their small business, which leaves them little time to focus on financial statements or tax returns. The SBW team can take care of the accounting needs, allowing clients to focus on what they do best.

SBW has always used Range internet in the Worland office. Gary said, “We like having a provider with employees who live locally, sharing churches and cheering sections. We also get our phone service from Range, which is now a 3CX VoIP internet-based system and a huge upgrade from landlines. Throughout the installation and set-up process, Range Business Solutions Specialist Tobi Johansen has been great about training our staff members. The 3CX system makes it easier for us to connect with clients and our multiple offices.”
