2025 Scholarship Application

In 2025 Range will award fifteen (15) scholarships valued at $1000 each with ten (10) $1,000 scholarships to students who are furthering their education through an accredited junior college, technical school, four-year college, or university. Range will designate one scholarship to a high school senior planning to attend a trade school. Range will also offer up to five (5) $1,000 scholarships to persons who are continuing their education in college or trade school and have completed at least 24 credit hours.

Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than April 1, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Applicant must be a Range customer, a Range customer’s dependent or a dependent of a Range employee and must state their account phone number and address they receive service at.
  • Applicant must have a GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Applicant must be a graduating senior or have graduated from an accredited public, parochial, homeschool, or private school.
  • Applicant must be entering or enrolled in an accredited technical/trade/college/university as a full-time student (12 credit minimum).
  • For continuing education scholarships, applicant must be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year of an accredited technical/trade/college/university and have completed at least 24 credit hours. Applicant must include an official transcript with application.

SELECTION FACTORS

  • Applicant has grades from high school and/or an accredited technical/trade/college/university.
  • Applicant demonstrates/exhibits leadership qualities through community involvement, extracurricular activities and/or employment.
  • Applicant demonstrates that their education/activities facilitate a stated educational goal.
  • Applicant has a financial need for the

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Please include all of the following items with this application:

  • RESUME – Provide a Resume which includes Awards, Honors, Activities, Employment, Community Service, etc.
  • ESSAY – Provide a one-page essay on the following:
    • Who or what has inspired or influenced you to select your career choice?
    • What have you done to prepare in order to achieve your career goals?
  • FINANCIAL STATEMENT – The Personal Financial Statement must be completed to help the Scholarship Committee determine your financial need.
  • LETTER(S) OF RECOMMENDATION – At least one current recommendation letter, but no more than three, should accompany this application.
  • TRANSCRIPT – A copy of your most recent school transcript must be attached. Please make sure the transcript contains your school’s grading scale.

All items checked below must be included and the application must be signed and dated by the applicant. Applications received or postmarked after the deadline shall be disqualified.
